Hot Lap Invitation
Friends of Nick,
Rio, Laos, Risdon Brook Dam, Clapham Common, Princess Park and many more venues will come to light at 11am Tuesday 26th of January ‘Australia day’ or more commonly known as the ’The Nick Green Memorial Hot Lap’.
The year’s race is wide open with whispers of secret trainings being held by many participants, all vying to take out the title. People can rejoice, as past winners are a no show due to absence or injury – leaving the door wide open for new champions to get their name engraved on the Cup. If you’re not the competitive type, come along to walk, support or join in the barbecue festivities after to remember the great man.
Be sure to tune into www.nickgreenhotlap.com currently being reconstructed and scheduled to go live shortly for updates on the 2010 race.
This year’s proceedings will be shared with the farewell of one of Nick’s good friends who is heading off overseas. Vinnie Cahill will be holding his farewell on the day before jet setting off to Asia to share some of the Vinchenzo love.
